A Legacy of Elegance & Heritage

Discover the history of Château La Favière, a place rich in heritage since the 18th century. From the Durand family’s management to the landmark transformations of the 20th century, each phase has shaped the essence of this estate.

History Rooted in Tradition

Dating back to the 18th century, Château La Favière was once known as La Cabane and belonged to the Durand family of Montpon-Ménestérol. Over generations, it evolved from a family estate into a thriving vineyard, shaped by visionaries like Jean Durand Lajarthe and Léonard Durand Monbrun.

During the 19th and 20th centuries, the estate witnessed expansion, inheritance transitions, and even industrial innovation, with the Soustre brothers establishing a paper and cardboard mill that became a leader in France.

In 2020, the château entered a new era, as its current owners lovingly restored and modernized the property while preserving its timeless charm. Today, we invite you to be part of its ongoing story – a legacy that continues to unfold with every guest who walks through its doors.

The Melody of Château La Favière

Château La Favière’s vineyard, located in SaintSeurin-sur-l’Isle, traces its roots back to the 18th century, when a Bordeaux family established a tradition of excellence on its clay-limestone soils.

Revitalized in 2010 by Stan and Natalia Zingerenko, the estate now embodies their shared love for nature and music.

The winery is now run and managed by Stan and Natalia, who produce wines that reflect the richness of our terroir.
